Compare these first
- Drainage holes and a way for water to leave the outer container.
- Root volume for the plant size, not only the visible pot diameter.
- Weight when full of wet soil, especially on balconies and rooftops.
- Color and material: dark thin plastic can overheat quickly in full sun.
- Access for repotting, moving, and checking irrigation lines.

- Never let the inner pot sit in hidden water after irrigation.
- Use spacers or feet so drainage can be checked.
